Dr. Pavithra Kumar specializes in the application of economic and financial theory to questions arising in complex securities and finance litigation. She has expertise in securities class actions, structured finance disputes, damages quantification and valuation, and is proficient in the use of sophisticated statistical modeling and econometric techniques, including event studies and market efficiency analyses. She has been engaged as an expert in securities, damages and valuation-related matters. She is a PhD in Finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management. She also co-led AACG’s webinar series on cryptocurrency litigation trends with AACG affiliate, Dr. Tim Weithers.

Dr. Daniel S. Levy, National Managing Director of Advanced Analytical Consulting Group, has provided expert analysis in cases involving the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, the Department of Labor, the Internal Revenue Service and presented his research to the FBI, US Postal Service, New York State Attorney General’s Office, and the Environmental Protection Agency, and numerous state regulators and enforcement agencies.
Prior to founding Advanced Analytical Consulting Group, Dr. Levy was the National Managing Principal of Economic and Statistical Consulting for Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP and served on its global board of directors. Prior to that he served as the Global Director of Economic Consulting for Arthur Andersen’s Value Solutions practice. He has also held research and consulting positions at Charles River Associates, The RAND Corporation, Needham, Harper Worldwide Advertising, SPSS Inc. and The University of Chicago Computation Center. Dr. Levy is a PhD in Economics from The University of Chicago.
