Mark Sunshine, JD


Mr. Sunshine has nearly three decades of experience in investment banking, capital markets, and business development. He has consulted on matters involving mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securitizations, bankruptcy creditor disputes, and capital markets transactions, and has provided deposition testimony and expert reports in numerous related securities and contract litigation matters.

Before founding Sunshine Capital, Mr. Sunshine held a series of executive-level roles, including chief financial officer (CFO) of Oppenheimer & Co.’s Municipal Partners Fund; chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Veritas Financial Partners; and president and CEO of Siemens First Capital Commercial Finance, a joint venture of Siemens Financial Services and First Capital specializing in commercial lending.

Mr. Sunshine has been featured frequently in business media as a contributor on topics related to banking, finance, and economic markets in outlets such as Bloomberg Television, Fox Business, CNBC, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Fortune, and Forbes.
