Dr. Kumar specializes in the application of economic and financial theory to questions arising in complex securities and finance litigation. She has expertise in securities class actions, structured finance disputes, damages quantification and valuation, and is proficient in the use of sophisticated statistical modeling and econometric techniques, including event studies and market efficiency analyses. She has been engaged as an expert in securities, damages and valuation-related matters. She is a Ph.D in Finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management. She also co-led AACG’s webinar series on cryptocurrency litigation trends with AACG affiliate, Dr. Tim Weithers.

Professor Gerald Dwyer is Professor Emeritus and BB&T Scholar at Clemson University. He was the founding Director of the Center for Financial Innovation and Stability and a Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Dr. Dwyer’s research has appeared in leading economics and finance journals, Federal Reserve Bank publications and books. He is a co-editor of Finance Research Letters and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Financial Stability. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Chicago.
