Dr. Artur Minkin's primary areas of expertise are applied economics and econometrics, which he has used for business consulting, litigation support, and work with SEC-regulated industries. He has developed econometric methods in microeconomics and macroeconomics and has worked with many large and complex data sets, including those pertaining to mutual fund trading activity, Medicare expenses, telecom issues, and accounting data for large corporations.

Before becoming part of the Advanced Analytical team, Dr. Minkin was an economic consulting manager for the Economic and Statistical Consulting group, part of the Litigation & Dispute Consulting practice, at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP. He has refereed for the Journal of Applied Econometrics and the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking and has published, most recently in the European Economic Review.

Dr. Minkin received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Wisconsin, an M.A. in Economics from the New Economic School in Moscow, Russia, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Moscow State University.
